RIBA Plan of Work

TAK Studio works across the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work, adapting each stage to the needs of your project - whether a house renovation, London home extension, sensitive listed building alterations, or sustainable retrofit.

A clear process

From a Victorian house renovation in Chelsea to a conservation area extension in Kensington, a house

remodel in Hampstead, or a deep retrofit family home refurbishment elsewhere in London, TAK Studio brings together planning strategy, architecture and interior design from first ideas to completion.

Architecture and interiors,
considered together

TAK provide interior design as a separate but closely coordinated scope. This may include kitchens and bathrooms, bespoke joinery, lighting, fixtures and fittings, colour and material palettes, furniture and styling.

When architecture and interiors are developed together, decisions about layout, services, storage, lighting and materials are made early and within each other’s context.

Scandinavian approach

Our ethos is driven by Scandinavian design practices: clarity of plan, purposeful storage, natural materials, and the belief that everyday details should work as well as they look. One consistent design thread can run from the first layout sketch through to the final fittings. Our clients are the decision makers, and we are there to support them in making informed choices, by arming them with all information they will need at any given point.
